I'll let you in to a little secret, but you have to promise not to tell 
anyone.  Whenever I come across brain-dead colour schemes like this 
(Unny, Chitnis to name but two), I press Ctrl-A and voila! the text is 
now black on white!  No more technical problems to reading the content, 
at least.

Now you owe me :)
