Heh, the first time i used Matchbox was on X windows
on a Cyrix MediaGX machine with 64MB Ram, shared for
graphics.  It ran at some 133 mhz or 166 iirc.
Installation was pretty simple.. Read the install FAQ.

It turned the machine into a Kiosk.. which wasnt bad.

Even I felt really happy over all the stuff Nokia is doing. But looks like 
RMS is still not happy :D

Stale or not, Maemo is awesome. Imagine, porting all your fav GTK+ app
to your PDA/phone...
Nokia sure is a clever market leader...

Sure, whats the issue? I've been running it pretty
happily for quite a bit now.. almost 2 years iirc.
On X86, you require a bit of configs etc, but on any
PDA/Handheld, including the iPaq and the Cassiopeia,
it has run without too much trouble.
