I recommend that anyone who can sub to LEM groups with something other than a Yahoo account do so. If you have a Yahoo email account subbed to one of the LEM lists and find that your posts are moderated, that would be the reason. I removed the spam messages from the archives, so you will not find them there. I think there is no reason for further discussion on the list of this issue. Please address any further concerns to myself or other nannies offlist. thanks, Beverly LEM listnanny Hello Beverly: I would have been happy to come to you offlist, but you did not provide your email address. I guess my last comments are that I suspected this whole business had something do do with yahoo problems which I had seen reported elsewhere. But I saw no connection until Robert sent his contribution. Let me say that your advice is welcome and would have been even more welcome if provided earlier. Hello Beverly: I would have been happy to come to you offlist, but you did not provide your email address. Google hides email addresses in the online interface by calling them macli...@beverlywoods.net and the like, but it is pretty easy to reply to me anyway. For Al and anyone else who does not know how to do this: If you get the list via email, the sender's address is in the Sender column. Copy and paste that into your reply in place of the group's email address. If you are going to the Google interface, you can reply offlist to anyone by clicking on the More Options link at the top of the email, and then you can choose Reply To Author. And to contact all of the listnannies of any list you have only to go to the About This Group page, for instance in this case: http://groups.google.com/group/imaclist/about and click where it says Send Email To Owner. thanks, Beverly LEM listnanny --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs. Bondi Blue Imac Upgrades
My father recently gave me a G3 Bondi Blue Imac 233 Mhz Processor with 96 MB memory. What can I do to upgrade this machine? How difficult is it to do? Do they still make accelerators for this? But, getting my list email in Digest mode, the sender's address is From:nore...@googlegroups.com . In this version, this is what I see from you as the third item in that portion of the thread which appears in that Digest: COPY/PASTE == 3 of 3 == Date: Sun, Jul 26 2009 6:09 pm From: Beverly Woods Regarding ...(.) In which case you would have to go to the Google interface and look up the thread here http://groups.google.com/group/imaclist/topics and find the thread there and reply to sender that way, or go to the About page and write from there. Speaking of which, any further correspondence on this topic should continue offlist. thanks, Beverly --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs. Kindergarden Software for OS X Graphite?
Hopefully the subject line says it all. I have a Kindergartener and need to get all of the educational-level stuff I can find that will run on my iMac Graphite/DVD system running OS X 10.4.3. I had a resource list somewhere on my system and now can't find it. All help appreciated, software listings or commercial recommendations or anything.
