adding ram to an eMac

2009-08-11 Thread Stro

Greetings,
I have a friend that would like me to install more memory in her
eMac. It only has 128mb right now and gets bogged down. I am
familiar with g3 and g4 desktops, and have added memory to ag3 iMac.
My questions are what memory will work (I am assuming it is a 700 or
800 mhz eMac); and how do I install the memory?

Thanks,
Lee

2009-08-11 Thread Simon Royal

Hi.

If it is a 700 or 800mhz model it will take PC133.

If you have installed memory in a G3 iMac then it is pretty much the same.
Access is via a hatch on the underneath.
