adding ram to an eMac
Greetings, I have a friend that would like me to install more memory in her eMac. It only has 128mb right now and gets bogged down. I am familiar with g3 and g4 desktops, and have added memory to ag3 iMac. My questions are what memory will work (I am assuming it is a 700 or 800 mhz eMac); and how do I install the memory? Thanks, Lee --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs. RE: adding ram to an eMac
Hi. If it is a 700 or 800mhz model it will take PC133. If you have installed memory in a G3 iMac then it is pretty much the same. Access is via a hatch on the underneath.
