Hi Group. Just wanted to mention that years ago, when I first started burning CDs/CDRWs, I had trouble burning anything with my newly purchased Iomega ZIP 650 on my 350MHz iMac Blueberry running OS 9. I contacted Iomega after the first 50 coasters, and they responded with a list of "preferred" brands of discs. Upon switching to a few of the listed discs, I had no trouble at all burning everything I wanted.
With the newer burners on the market, even the internal ones, coasters seem to be almost non-existant these days, provided you follow the burner's instructions. I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your burner(s) to ascertain if they have certain brands that work better in their equipment.
