Re: USB Digital Video Converter

2017-03-28 Thread Michael Shaw
Those little CDs will not work in "slot-loading" optical drives BUT they DO
work in everything else.

Every optical drive built since 1990 that has a drawer that slides out has
a special centre divot for mini-CDs.

Any suggestions as to what I might try?
I looked for the original install discs and just realized that none came
with the computer. Is this the norm with the newer Imacs?
I'm sending this on one of my old (2000) green Imac which runs Panther,

Upon restarting after the update was completed both external FireWired

Those two drives can not be opened because the message is that i don't have

I really need help because the alternative at this time is to erase and
lose hours and hours of audio/video projects on one of the two drives.

 I have tried DiskWarrior 4.2, TechToolPro 5.x, Apple'sDiskUtility by
repairing permissions, unplugged the fire wire cable and re-plugged the

Is there any Utility or a terminal command to unlock those drives ?

 Suggestions/help required please.
