Hello Kasey,
The reason I said I thought it would belong on the G-group is because
the old iMac design line similar to the eMac was discontinued at least
a couple years when the new iMac G5s where out.
And yes it seems better in the G list because it was only ever
available in the G4 PPC CPU.
Heck it doesn't really matter too much though. I know now. Better yet
maybe 'iMac and /eMac List'?

I've been keeping an eye out for this new revelation and have yet to
find out. I'm still curious! =) The eMac (I have the 1.25 USB 2.0) is
a really nice Mac.

The group existed as the iMac List long before the eMac was
introduced. Rather than change the group name or create a group just
for eMacs, we added eMacs to the FAQ for the iMac List. (We've
recently done the same thing in adding Snow Leopard to our Leopard
group.)

Re: Attn: eMac owners

2009-11-30 Thread Michael G.M.
I'm interested to find out about Moby Dick also. I didn't know the
eMac was a member of the 'iMac list'.
Thought it would have been a member of the 'G group'.
I know there's the extended display firmware hack, but that might be a
different 'feature' than you are referring to.(?)
Maybe you should post this to the G list too, Dan.
