You might consider looking for a retail OS 10.4 disk set which should
include OS 9. That would cover your currently installed OS with a
license and provide the Classic mode as well. At least, my gray non-
retail OS 10.4.2 disk set came with OS 9.2 for my G4 iBook. But that
did not give me a separate OS 9.2 boot partition.

Googling 'extract OS9 from NetBoot image' should get you going. This has been
covered in the LEM lists several time, I don't remember which ones.

I recently got an iMac 700 MHz G4 with OS 10.4 installed. I need to
install 9.2.2 in order to run in the Classic mode. Where can I get
install discs or downloads of 9.2.2? Thanks.
