be more clear.
If the
virtual is virtualdomain.tld, then on the virtual domain's General page, in the
aliases box, enter mail.virtualdomain.tld.

can use just userid on a virtual IF:
you
set up DNS for mail.virutaldomainname.tld (or whatever)
AND
add the fully quallified name as an alias in IMail Admin. IE, for the virtual
domain "domain", set up an alias on the General page for that virtual
host.
I
believe it's a browser-side function (you see the full [EMAIL PROTECTED] flast
in the text box when you click Logon) but it works nice, just the
same.

I installed Imail locally on my
workstation to start playing with it and it does work fine. I am using Imail
authentication. I keep getting invalid account name or password. I am also
running the Im server and client on the same computer. I go through the
settings of the IM server and do not see anything obviously wrong. Any
suggestions..
