Re: [imp] IMP 6.2

Quoting ANANT S ATHAVALE a...@isac.gov.in:

Dear Developers,

As I see the RoadMap, IMP 6.2 release likely to happen in December, 2013.
Whether the source code will be totally different from what is used in IMP
6.1.x?

*Totally* different? No, of course not. Bug fixes are ported to the
next point release branches. The next point releases will contain,
along with the bug fixes, new features.

Why asking this question is, now many of the bugs have been resolved and if
IMP 6.2 is going to be a different source then, we need to test for all
these bugs again.

Of course there is always the possibility of bugs in a new software
release. However, the risk of a regression in one of the bugs already
fixed is fairly low.

If you are concerned enough about certain bugs in an upcoming release,
you can always help us help you by actually testing the code before it
is released.

[imp] Odd problem with 6.1.3 and forwarding

2013-09-30 Thread Rick Romero

Just wondering if I'm the only one with this issue -
In dyamic view, when I click Forward a new window will open to compose with
the Forwarded message attached.
If I select 'Click this box to add the original message text to the body',
I get a 'Error when communicating with server'

Choosing either of the dropdowns from the Forward menu does work correctly.

The log shows:
EMERG: HORDE5 [imp] Could not retrieve message data from the mail server.
[pid 11315 on line 286 of /usr/share/horde/imp/lib/Dynamic/Compose.php]
Using Dovecot 2.1.12 with imapproxy.

[imp] imp6 mail send error

2013-09-30 Thread Torok Jozsef

Hi,

i'm using git-version of horde/imp. Yesterday i've just upgraded from 6.1.x
(no idea which was it) to 6.1.5-git (this is the imp version, i've ugraded
everything with git pull), and the problems came. Looks like when someone
tries to send a mail with attachment, imp stalls (the compose window does
not close). At the background it sends the mail, but the apache process
goes up to 100%, which kills the server.
I've made a new 'git clone', but same thing happened.
Anyone noticed this? Cannot find anything in the logs, can i debug this
somehow?

thx

I can verify this also happens when sending a s/mime signed email as well.

Re: [imp] Vertical layout and scroll bar reg.

2013-09-30 Thread Michael M Slusarz

Quoting ANANT S ATHAVALE a...@isac.gov.in:

Dear List,

When viewing messages in Vertical View, the message part has horizontal
scroll bar at the end of the message only.  If there is any line at the
begining of the message, which is long, it is difficult to scroll and see.

Is it possible to introduce horizonal scroll bar for the window itself?

No. A master viewport should be contained to the size of the viewable
window (e.g. the browser window). Having horizontal scrollbars on the
main browser window is a usability nightmare (and this is from
significant user experience/feedback).

Fixed in Horde_Imap_Client. This did not affect any released code.

Keep discussions in the list and please don't top-post.

Your problem is very odd. I've never seen it. Maybe horde developers
could give some directions.
