Re: [imp] Problems after upgrading to imp 6.2.0

Hi,

after upgrading to Horde Groupware 5.2 everything now works really fine!
Two small problems remain though:

- autocomplete does not show mailadresses homeEmail and workEmail
anymore (configured longer time ago:
http://wiki.horde.org/TurbaExtraFields). I made them searchable with the
according hook in imp and by adding the search-fields in
turba/backends.local.php for localsql.

- new folder labeled INBOX.Trash appears, which seams disabled (grey
instead of black, not deleteable). Other folders are shown correctly
without namespace INBOX..

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Anton

Autocomplete seems to find entries based on workEmail or homeEmail, but
then inserts the main mail adress. Example:

John Doe
- Mail: j...@doe.com
- homeEmail: john...@aol.com

If I type aol the recommendation is John Doe j...@doe.com and not
John Doe john...@aol.com, which I would expect.

I think, this behaviour isn't new, but it would be great if this could
be changend somehow.

Best regards and thanks again to everybody who makes Horde possible!

[imp] Maintenance message loop at login

2014-07-11 Thread Brett Charbeneau
   A few of my users are receiving a message on login to imp having
to do with maintenance that says

All messages in your mailbox older than 30 days will be
permanently deleted.

   Since no mailbox is named, it's confusing and skipping or
performing said task does not make the message go away. I have a
screen cap here

http://ibin.co/1SxO0RjLUA7J

Can anyone offer any hints as to what is causing this?

I'm guessing that these users either don't have any sent-mail or Spam
mailboxes defined, but the login task is active. These 2 login tasks
don't check whether an actual mailbox is defined before displaying, as
opposed to the purge trash login task which does. This is a bug.

   We're running Horde 5.1.5 and IMP 6.1.6.
   It appears that at least one of my users did NOT have a Spam
mailbox defined at

Cog  Preferences  Mail  Spam Reporting

   but DID have the Purge Spam mailbox how often: drop down box set
to Every login. As soon as I had them set it to Never the login
task message box at login disappeared.

[imp] horde-alarms script producing log errors with horde 5.2

2014-07-11 Thread John H. Bennett III

Hello,

I have 2 test servers installed. One with horde 5.1, and one with
horde 5.2. I am seeing this in my logs on the server running horde 5.2:

Jul 11 11:10:06 www HORDE: [imp] [login] Authentication failed. [pid
22459 on line 732 of /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/lib/Imap.php]

This is happening every five minutes, which corresponds to the cron
job that is running the horde-alarms script.

If I manually run this script, I get the same log error. This only
happens with horde 5.2, on horde 5.1 I don't see this error.

The calendar alarms are working fine on both servers. I created some
calendar entries on both servers, and I was notified of the alarms.

The only difference between the two horde-alarms scripts are at the
bottom of the file.

Horde 5.1:

Horde_Registry::appInit('horde', array('cli' = true, 'user_admin' = true));

$injector-getInstance('Horde_Alarm')-notify(null, true, false,
array('notify', 'desktop'));

Horde 5.2:

Horde_Registry::appInit('horde', array('cli' = true, 'user_admin' = true));

$alarm = $injector-getInstance('Horde_Alarm');
$alarm-notify(null, true, false, array('notify', 'desktop'));
foreach ($alarm-getErrors() as $error) {
$cli-message($error, 'cli.error');
}

Have I missed something in a config file somewhere, or how can I
suppress this error message?

Thank you,

John Bennett

Would need to see an IMAP debug log of the folder list commands to debug.

This error is harmless. IMP 6.2.1 will silence this error by not
attempting transparent authentication if no password is present.

[imp] view of html and plaintext email.

2014-07-11 Thread John H. Bennett III

Hello,

I'm having an issue with imp 6.2.0 when receiving html emails. When I
send myself a test email using html, I'm seeing both the plaintext
message and the html message.

I have both the plain text and html viewers set to inline true, so I'm
sure that's the issue, but if I receive html, I'd prefer to only see
the html message.

Under preferences/mail/viewing, I have also set html part for the for
messages with alternative representation of a text part, which part
should be display setting.

If I set the html driver to inline false, then I see the plain text,
and get the, this message part contains html data, but inline html
display is disabled, so I must click the view html data in new window
link to see the html part.

Have I done something wrong, or is this the way it is? I was
expecting that if I receive HTML email, then show that, and not the
text, or I guess a link to show the text. I can't turn the plaintext
inline viewer to false, because then I can't view most of my mail as I
normally do. I then have to click the text icon.

I hope I've explained that ok, and someone can help me fix what I've
done wrong, or tell me this is working as designed.

Thanks again for your help,

John Bennett
