large sized cloves it has less aroma and pungency.

 Good morning Sir

For the past few days I kept watching on leaves of * Cayratia trifolia* and
the leaflets are very variable indeed, from rounded to cuneate base and
acute to obtuse or even rounded apex. But, didn't find exact match.

 One match found in http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?search=
Parthenocissus+henryana, but the plant should have 5 leaflets
 http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2taxon_id=242336004.
Based on this, far-fetched imagination it may sound, can it be
 *Parthenocissus semicordata* (Wallich) Planch.
 http://www.yeehua.net/picview.asp?tpid=1683 (*V. himalayana* Brand.)?

 Thank you

[efloraofindia:195447] Re: Hooghly : Polygonum serrulatum Lagasc. ; Boiss . Fl. Orient. iv. 1028? (FBI.v.38) ?

2014-08-01 Thread surajitkoley
Good morning Ritesh Ji

Missed your feedback yesterday, didn't receive email. Yes, I have seen the
accepted name in The Plant List. But, I have deliberately used the
name/entry in FBI or Bengal Plants or in Botany of Bihar and Orissa for
reason I will explain eventually.

Perianth color is variable and taxonomically less important (atleast in
Persicaria)

I think I can ignore what FoZ shows or displays. Please note :

   1. As per FBI/BP/BoBO perianth colour white in Indian plants
   2. raceme stout short
   3. leaves subsesiile and glabrous with slightly strigillose (or
   glabrous) margin
   4. cillia not longer than ochrea tube

Thank you

Regards

Moreover, your photos do not match with the images available on net:
