Quite interesting,

It appears to be *Murdannia vaginata*. The ribbed bracts are visible
properly. But the glabrous nature of pedicel (although it is not properly
visible) makes it unique.

Can you have access to it, if yes click some good pics of the flower and
flowering scape?. Please revert, it will help ID more precisely.

fern, colloquially called button fern , i had a basket houseplant
 about 30 years ago once.
but it died in the balcony during a harsh winter. never knew its
 scientific name.
so i was very interested when i saw your case.

 your plant is most likely
 Pyrrosia piloselloides
 which is supposed
to have stellate hairs on both types of the fronds, sterile round and
fertile oval or longish one you have
but, i cant find the hairs in these pictures, may be they are but i
 cant see them, thats possible

 my next choice is then

*Lemmaphyllum carnosum* . this FoC page though
says: i quote: ' *Lemmaphyllum carnosum* is superficially very
similar to *Pyrrosia piloselloides* (Linnaeus) M. G. Price.
The two are separated by the stellate hairs of the *Pyrrosia*, which
are sometimes very sparse. " end quote
if so, and if there is possibility of even a few hairs
i would go with Pyrrosia pilosellodes
  whose
illustration in FoC page in this link is encouraging
 http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=124569_id=2
rather than FoC illustration of Lemmaphyllum carnosum page at this
 link

  where
fig 1 is Lemmaphyllum carnosum, both sterile and fertile fronds are
 oblong
not *round and oblong* as in Pyrrosia piloselloides.

but all this discussion is preliminary unless Pankaj and Chris have
 seen the case.

 so we all wait.

fern, colloquially called button fern , i had a basket houseplant
 about 30 years ago once.
but it died in the balcony during a harsh winter. never knew its
 scientific name.
so i was very interested when i saw your case.

 your plant is most likely
 Pyrrosia piloselloides
 which is supposed
to have stellate hairs on both types of the fronds, sterile round and
fertile oval or longish one you have
but, i cant find the hairs in these pictures, may be they are but i
 cant see them, thats possible

 my next choice is then

*Lemmaphyllum carnosum* . this FoC page though
says: i quote: ' *Lemmaphyllum carnosum* is superficially very
similar to *Pyrrosia piloselloides* (Linnaeus) M. G. Price.
The two are separated by the stellate hairs of the *Pyrrosia*, which
are sometimes very sparse. " end quote
if so, and if there is possibility of even a few hairs
i would go with Pyrrosia pilosellodes
  whose
illustration in FoC page in this link is encouraging
 http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=124569_id=2
rather than FoC illustration of Lemmaphyllum carnosum page at this
 link

  where
fig 1 is Lemmaphyllum carnosum, both sterile and fertile fronds are
 oblong
not *round and oblong* as in Pyrrosia piloselloides.

but all this discussion is preliminary unless Pankaj and Chris have
 seen the case.

 so we all wait.

I believe this is Lemmaphyllum microphyllum. Pyrrosia leaves are more
thinner, Lemmaphyllum has succulent leaves

2018-09-20 Thread vipl...@gmail.com
Agree with Radha ji. The long, prominent pedicels in these photographs are
indicative of *Anagallis pumila* Sw. [*Primulaceae*]. In contrast, the
flowers of *A. minima* are sessile/subsessile with the pedicels either
absent or almost inconspicuous (c. 1 mm).

Best wishes, Viplav
