Known install problems with WinCVS?

2000-03-09 Thread Gordon Stone

I have been battling periodically to try to install WinCVS on my home
machine (Win95) but consistantly fail to get past the installation hurdle.
Note this is after successfully installing on my Windows98 Machine in the
office.
The beta of WinCVS 1.11 gave exactly the same results as 1.06. I have
attached a screen dump of the error message.

Has anyone come across similar problems?

For reference, details of system are below:
Pentium 120, 48Mb RAM with two physical HDDs:
1.2Mb (C) and 8Mb partitioned to 2Gb (D) 500Mb (E) 500Mb (F) and 5Gb (Suse
Linux)
Win95
I can supply a listing of the files in c:\windows\system and subdirectories
(removed entries for screesavers and help files), config.sys and
autoexec.bat if anyone thinks they know of possible conflicts.

Specific WinCVS Documentation - Correcting unwanted modules

2000-06-21 Thread Gordon Stone

Can anyone point me to good specifically WinCVS Documentation/FAQ other than
the Application help file.
In particular I want to correct where a colleague has imported a module to
the wrong location (i.e. to the root of their C drive instead of a CVS
directory.
I have tried replicating the problem by checking out some test data to a
module down the tree on my system. I can remove files from within hte module
but not the module itself.
Any suggestions?

I'm also looking for similar but from the lack of response, it looks like
there may be none.
