trouble with cvs add
I'm having some problems with cvs add. I have a project with some branches. One of those branches is a posible 1.2 release in which we are working out some problems. The thing is that I add some files to the HEAD which I need in the 1.2 release, but I just can't add it to the branch because it says that the files (and directories) already exist. Have I just done everything wrong with this? -- 09:59:46 up 7 days, 18:28, 2 users, load average: 0.55, 0.70, 0.74 ----- Martín Marqués| select 'mmarques' || '@' || 'unl.edu.ar' Centro de Telematica | DBA, Programador, Administrador Universidad Nacional del Litoral - ___ Info-cvs mailing list Info-cvs@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
Monitoring tool
Can anyone recomend a good moitoring tool for a CVS server? We basically want to get mails when ever a commit is made, with the diff and versioning information. We also want mails when tags are commited, branches are made, etc. Any good tool out there? -- 10:25:01 up 62 days, 37 min, 2 users, load average: 0.32, 0.32, 0.39 - Martín Marqués| select 'mmarques' || '@' || 'unl.edu.ar' Centro de Telematica | DBA, Programador, Administrador Universidad Nacional del Litoral - ___ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
login not working
I have tried to make my cvs server work with non-system authentification, but it just doesn't work. I checkout the CVSROOT, and added a passwd file with the new passwords, did a cvs add and a cvs commit. Everything went OK, but after a logout, I try to login to the server and it gives me: cvs [login aborted]: authorization failed: server ultra31 rejected access I tried adding a new user (one that doesn't exist in the /etc/passwd) and I get a user unknown error. I'm a bit confused with this. Any idea on what can be happening?
