Hello I'm new to implementing CVS, and have a question regarding the fundamentals of the CVS repository.
Is it possible to add custom fields to the repository? I want to attach some meta data (eg: description, synopsis etc) to files in the repository, but the standard version I've installed (CVSNT) doesn't seem to accommodate this. Secondly, can the revision field by a string or does it need to be an auto-incrementing number? Any help anyone can provide would be most appreciated.
