problems with a unicode file

2003-08-14 Thread Tiziana Biondo

Hi All,

I am using WinCvs 1.3 . I added to my repository a
pdf file with the 'add unicode' option since the system warned me when
I tried to use  'add binary'. When I checked it out I couldn't open it
because it results corrupted , so I've deleted the file and added
it once again forcing WinCvs to use the binary mode. The problem is that the
system keeps on adding it as a unicode ( -ku option) making it impossible
for me to open that document.
To resolve this situation, do I have to physically
delete the file from the server? And if so which is the right way to
do it (I mean do I have to look in the Attic or whatever...)?

Thanks in advance

Tiziana Biondo

I think you can change the type to binary with the admin command. After
that you need to commit again a good version of the file.

bye Fabi
