Re: error message building cyrus-imap
Hi all, I've got an error message that occurs after I do make all CFLAGS=-O during my attempt to build cyrus-imapd-2.2.8 : make[1]: Entering directory `/root/cyrus-imapd-2.2.8/master' gcc -o master master.o masterconf.o cyrusMasterMIB.o ../lib/lock_fcntl.o ../lib/libcyrus_min.a -L/usr/lib -lnetsnmpagent -lnetsnmpmibs -lnetsnmphelpers -lnetsnmp -ldl -lrpm -lrpmio -lpopt -lbz2 -lz -lcrypto -lelf -lm -L/usr/lib/lib -lwrap -lresolv -lssl -lcrypto -lfl -lresolv -ldb-4.1 -lcom_err /usr/bin/ld: warning: libcom_err.so.3, needed by /usr/lib/libcrypto.so, may conflict with libcom_err.so.2 master.o(.text+0x3238): In function `main': : undefined reference to `netsnmp_enable_subagent' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status I cannot find a reference to netsnmp_enable_subagent. Has anybody run into this before? Any ideas on this? I'm installing this on RedHat 9 enterprise. Question about shared folders in a virtual domain setup
Hello, I have a server with virtual domains and would like to create two shared mailboxes for training a bayes DB, spam and not-spam, that are available to all users. Is this possible? I can create [EMAIL PROTECTED] and that works, but other domains won't have access to this. Is there a way to have a system-wide shared mailbox in a virtdomain setup? The only alternative I can think of is drop the IMAP mailbox and use an MTA alias and have users forward their spam... Thanks, Josh --- Cyrus Home Page: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus Cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyruswiki.andrew.cmu.edu List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html

db4.spec version
Hi all, Well, thanks to Simon I am almost there. I successfully built the cyrus-imap on RH 9. Now, I have the final challenge, the DB4 problem. Here is my question. The db4.spec file provided by Simon is for db4 version 4.0.14. But, my RH 9 installation has db4 version 4.1.25. How can I patch db4 in this situation? The patch will fail againt 4.1.25 thanks, Dave --- Cyrus Home Page: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus Cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyruswiki.andrew.cmu.edu List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html
About the 8bit in header.
Hi all: Sorry to ask this stupid question. Maybe this problem have been discussed for many times. But i really blind with it now. I have a cyrus-imapd 2.2.3 installation in my server. And i found that many messages delivered to my mailbox with its header changed to XX. I have STFW and RTFM for a long time. And i know that it's a non-ascii problem. But i don't know how to deal with it. Because my server is a running mail server. So recomplie is not permited. lots of the solutions is patch. Could you pick me up with it? What should i do with it now. Every response is appreciated.
