-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello Cyrus Gurus! In my outlook I got an extra folder all of the sudden. it's named someone.username I tried to delete it with no luck. It says permission denied. I tried to delete from webmail - same story. I logged into the server as cyrus user and looked for this folder in /var/spool/mymailbox and can't find it. huge message!
Hi, Not really a question, but has anyone already seen this? bash-2.05# ls -lh 1509. -rw--- 1 cyrusmail139M Mar 13 2006 1509. I'm migrating from cyrus 2.2something to 2.3.7, and have almost migrated 700 Gig with imapsync withouth problems. And now I have this mega user with a mega message of 139M. We don't accept messages greater than 12M, so I think the user copied the message to the server with imap. 139M! Users... they'll always surprise you. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Rudy Gevaert [EMAIL PROTECTED] tel:+32 9 264 4734 Directie ICT, afd. Re: Cyrus 2.2.10: autocreatequota?
Hi Rafael, For this quota to work, the inbox needs to have recieved email via pop or lmtp... if the user has never logged in, or if he has never gotten email, then you cannot change the quota. Thanks for your response. The messages are delivered from Postfix via LMTP socket. If I send a message and the user inbox hasn't been created with cyradm, then I get this error: /var/cyrus/imap/socket/lmtp[/var/cyrus/imap/socket/lmtp] said: 550-Mailbox unknown. Either there is no mailbox associated with this 550-name or you do not have authorization to see it. 550 5.1.1 User unknown (in reply to RCPT TO command) If I create the user inbox with cyradm and send then a message, then the default quota is infinite (not listed with the quota command). Re: Cyrus 2.2.10: autocreatequota?
Hi Michael, afaik the autocreatequota ist only the quota for mailboxes which are created by autocreate. If you create the mailbox with cyradm the mailbox is not created by autocreate. So you have to set the quota with cyradm How to activate autocreate? If I dont create an user inbox with cyradm and send hime a message then I get an error. In man imapd.conf I don't find a hint.
