No doubt and I actually would love to do so, but so far I fail to find
a way to upgrade to 3.0 we can handle. :(

So far I have been searching the repositories for virtually all
distributions we could eventually dare to support in production, and
the most "current" cyrus version I found is something like 2.15.xx, and
I haven't found any newer Docker images either, not even sure whether
Docker would be a way that might work for our setup.

Do you guys really all run cyrus built from source in production?



We do, on CentOS though.







Likewise, does anyone have any idea what's the minimum version I would
need for the autocreateinboxfolders feature to work? Right now this
seems the only feature I am missing in the current 2.4 setup...

Problem after update (deliver not working anymore)

Hi,

I updated our cyrus server (SuSE SLES 12) to the latest release. First tests

did not show any problem. But now I noticed the following:


Oct 24 11:48:44 mail postfix/local[3438]: 0F6604A6F0: 
to=, relay=local, delay=0.03, delays=0.01/0/0/0.01, 
dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary failure. Command output: couldn't 
connect to lmtpd: Permission denied 421 4.3.0 deliver: couldn't connect 
to lmtpd_



We are using for some shared mailfolders /etc/aliases with

NAME:  ""|/usr/bin/formail -I \"From \" |/usr/lib/cyrus/bin/deliver -e 
-a cyrus -m NAME"


It worked without any problems before.

Normal mail (to users) are working perfectly ...

I tried to change the permission of /var/lib/imap/socket/lmp without any 
success.


Any idea ?
