hi, my Outlook users does not purge the mails, after delete them. Does anybody found a way, to delete the messages, that has the delete flag, or something else? delivery fails to shared folders via formail (permission denied, Postfix)
hi, i have to public folders: public.SPAM puplic.NOTSPAM i try to deliver mails for users with no imap account, via the alias maps: public.notspam: |/usr/bin/formail -f -I \From \ |/usr/lib/cyrus/deliver -e -a cyrus -m public.NOTPSPAM public.spam:|/usr/bin/formail -f -I \From \ |/usr/lib/cyrus/deliver -e -a cyrus -m public.SPAM time ago (less than 1 year), it was working, but now i don't get it working again. Postfix tells me: syslog: mx deliver[25902]: connect(/var/imap/socket/lmtp) failed: Permission denied mailq: (temporary failure. Command output: couldn't connect to lmtpd: Permission denied_ 421 4.3.0 deliver: couldn't connect to lmtpd_) [EMAIL PROTECTED] All other things are working. ls -al /var/imap/socket/ srwxrwxrwx 1 cyrus mail0 Feb 9 17:39 lmtp it was root:root, but i changed it to cyrus:mail, in hope, that could be the trick. it is working over mysql. the pam/sieve is the same like imap/pop3.
why is sieveshell logging in with wrong username? He have to login with
linuxmail.4lin.net not root.
any suggestions?

hi, i searched in google for answers and the most pages says, that the maschine is too slow, to handle so many connections. Do you use mysql.socks or tcp? I would say, test both ways. It is also possible, that pam drops the connections to late, or the timeout is too long. Cyrus stops working after reboot
hi,
i have problems with Cyrus. We had to reboot the System and after that,
cyrus stops working. Telnet localhost 110/143 ended with connection
refused. There is only one error in the log:
