Shared Folders - Ghost in a box?
Dear colleagues Our Shared Folder are called My Groups. If it is a name I put I in Since a couple of days every user that wants to subscribe to Shared Folders get three folders offered: Shared Folders/Deleted Items Shared Folders/Drafts Shared Folders/Sent Items But I do not use the default names. Since ever I configured # userprefix: My Groups sharedprefix: My Groups # This works fine So if somebody get folder offer it should be: My Groups/other mailbox/subfolder The Shared Folder Shared Folder don't exist. Has anybody an idea why they occur? Where can I look? Re: Lost connection to selected backend (proxyd - imapd)
Right, Frontend Proxd crashed and I also do not believe that this is a physical connection problem. The line is well monitored and not overloaded, not even under any load. After a reconstruct , which runs fine, the problem persists. But an upgrade is not so easy. We use the original RPM package 2.2.12-8.1 and upgrading to 2.3.x means building a complete new package from next RH EL5.0 SRPM. We have ~ six hundred users on our servers, direktly connected to the backend w/o problems ;o) Rgrds RPr Alain Spineux schrieb: Hi Despite the error message, I dont thing this is a connection problem. It looks like the Fimap crashed and closed the connection. Try to reconstruct the mailbox(es) and see if the problem persist. You could also try to upgrade to last imap version. Anyway this is a bug, imap should not crash without any appropriate error message. The wellknown UIDL- Outlook - multiple messages download with pop3 problem
Hello! In december 2005 was a thread about downloading multible messages via pop3 with Outlook as email client. The reason for this problem was a wrong or broken handling of MS Outlook with the UIDL of cyrus imapd(pop3d). Cyrus Imapd uses a UIDL with variable length (rfc conform) but Outlook can not handle this variable length and starts over to download the message if it meets a point where the UIDL changes. Well. The problem is caused by Outlook. But I have to fix this problem, but I can not fix Outlook, you know. Now my questions: Has anybody out there already started to work on a patch for the cyrus server? Are there any suggestions where to patch the (correct working) imapd|popd? Hi, today i've successfull (so far as i can see :-)) upgradet from 1.6.24 to 2.1.9. But i can not find syncnews anymore?! In the manuals the part for integrating NetNews still talks about syncnews for synchronizing news and imap folders. Uh? Any suggestions? sendmail strips +details from address
Hello, first let me say: in the basic configuration, that means on a redhat box with cyrus deliver and sendmail 8.11.6 everything runs fine. An email to an address like [EMAIL PROTECTED] reaches the folder sub of user username as expected. But since i've setup trendmicro interscan with sendmail in sandwich form, the +detail information got lost. All normal emailaddresses get the virusscanned email properly. Only a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] drops into the Inbox folder I think the problem is that any email has to pass sendmail twice. This is part of the sandwich setup and i can see this in the logfile. Any suggestion how to tell sendmail not to strip +details?
