Renumbering groups
Ciao a tutti, I need to write this question because it is not the first time I ask but now I cannot remember the answer and I don't find it anywhere else. I have the incoming mail group in a imap server (owned by me) where the message base is compressed automatically directly on the server so the number of messages change. Gnus does not understand this change and so it thinks it has many messages no more present. So I need to renumber this group. Error in gnus with emacs 24
Ciao a tutti, I found an error using gnus with emacs24 for Debian Gnu/Linux coming From http://emacs.naquadah.org/. When I start gnus I get this message and gnus does not start: Error in ~/.gnus. gnus + offlineimap
Ciao a tutti, somebody could point me to some instructions about using gnus with offlineimap? I know I could use offlineimap to sync from a remote imap server to a local one and then connect gnus to local imap but the pc I need to use is really too small and so I need a lighter solution. Bug in offline mode?
Ciao a tutti, I have a trouble using gnus in offline mode with agent mode: if I select a mail group (in my instance nnimap group) before and then an nntp group gnus say "Could not open server" and I cannot read anything. Instead reading nntp groups before any mail group works normally. Increasing the gnus-verbose variable to 10 I read only "Could not open server" (with the domain name). Strange problem with dictionary
