If you are still having problems with Internet access it looks like
something has corrupted DNS server this am. Thanks to Don from R&D for
confirming problem and providing a solution for Windows DNS Servers. If
you are still having problems and running Microsoft DNS on Windows 2K or
higher see the forwarded message below.

All other platforms it may be simpler to restart your DNS server in the
building to correct the problem. If you continue to have problems after
that please contact me.

Thanks.

Scott,

I had major DNS corruption on both of our dns servers earlier this am.

it took me a few minutes to zero in on the problem.

I flushed DNS Cache on all DNS servers and did an: ipconfig /flushdns

and the problem went away.

not certain what caused this it was very abnormal.

thanks.

It looks like there are some problems with DNS lookup that will prevent
some
web sites from displaying. So far we have seen the problem here at our
agency and Spirit Lake as well.

I have opened a ticket with ICN to look into this problem. Until
resolved
you may experience problems with accessing web and email from the
Internet.

If you have any questions please let me know.
