Re: Plus.line wants to become an oVirt mirror

2015-09-09 Thread David Caro

After a few days checking that it's ok, you can add it to the mirrorlist file
used to generate the mirrors for yum, it's somewhere at repos under resources
iirc

There are 18 bugs marked as test / automation blocker[2]

There are 43 bugs marked as regressions[3]

Given current bugs status, release criteria are not met [4] so I suggest to
go with another beta on 2015-09-16 and review bug status next week.
I'm postponing RC by one week in the mean time.

Action items:
- Developers: fix test / automation blockers, regressions and remaining
blockers.
- Please check Jenkins status for 3.6 jobs and sync with relevant
maintainers if there are issues.
- Please fill release notes, the page has been created here [5]
- Please test oVirt 3.6 nightly snapshot and check for regressions from 3.5

[ANN] [QE] Bugzilla updates for oVirt Product

2015-09-09 Thread Sandro Bonazzola
The oVirt team is pleased to announce that today oVirt moved to its own
classification within our Bugzilla system as previously anticipated [1].
No longer limited as a set of sub-projects, each building block
(sub-project) of oVirt will be a Bugzilla product.
This will allow tracking of package versions and target releases based on
their own versioning schema.
Each maintainer, for example, will have administrative rights on his or her
Bugzilla sub-project and will be able to change flags,
versions, targets, and components.

As part of the improvements of the Bugzilla tracking system, a flag system
has been added to the oVirt product in order to ease its management [2].
The changes will go into affect in stages, please review the wiki for more
details.

We invite you to review the new tracking system and get involved with oVirt
QA [3] to make oVirt better than ever!

Re: [ANN] [QE] Bugzilla updates for oVirt Product

2015-09-09 Thread Alon Bar-Lev

Hi,

Great to see this alive!
How do we open bug for issues in the bugzilla layout? :)
How do we add new products? More important for me is how do we add new
version/target release?

Thanks!
Alon

For the first stage we will not be adding any additional sub-projects.
After the full migration on the existing sub-project we can consider adding
additional ones.

So the ip of the wiki changed again. A proper fix is to deploy proper
username/password security on smtp, along a certificate, but since the
wiki is supposed to be out soon, I never bothered.

Instead, i did add a fast script to add the ip if it change. It is
in /usr/local/sbin/fix_postfix.py on lists.ovirt.org, I plan to make it
run by cron every hour, that should be good enough for the short term.

(also, top post is bad)
