 You should update it to run on el7 which isn't fast moving as fedora,
 that's how you'll make sure you'll have enough slaves available.

 (I think you can even drop the node restriction even, since its running
 on mock )

[JIRA] (OVIRT-1717) When a component build passes OST, tag its git hash

This requires keeping a hash/mapping of each project rpm to a source repo,
maintaining permissions for a specific user to tag any project ( and keeping
track on new projects,etc.. ), and to what purpose?

I'm not sure what is the reason behind this request, but won't it be irrelevant
once we move to patch gating? ( which should happen in the near future ), which
means any merged patch is basically passing OST and tested?

Usually the maintainer updates it in the Jenkins project YAML. We are
working to move this info to the project itself (automation.yaml), but
until then I think it will be useful
for you as a maintainer to get to know this process, as you would want to
start building probably for new Fedora versions soon or drop obselete
versions.

We can of course help to educate on the flow, but ownership remains at the
maintainers hands.

Here is the patch to help in this case: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/83347/

[CQ]: 83158,5 (ovirt-engine) failed "ovirt-master" system tests

2017-10-29 Thread oVirt Jenkins
Change 83158,5 (ovirt-engine) is probably the reason behind recent system test
failures in the "ovirt-master" change queue and needs to be fixed.

This change had been removed from the testing queue. Artifacts build from this
change will not be released until it is fixed.

For further details about the change see:

Until this is implemented, I've written a little script to automate what I do
to find the latest tested version of a project

{code:sh}
$ cat ~/bin/ovirt-latest-tested
#!/bin/bash

project=$1
[[ -z "$project" ]] && project=ovirt-engine

curl -s
http://plain.resources.ovirt.org/pub/ovirt-master-snapshot/rpm/el7/noarch/|
grep "\"$project-[0-9]"|tail -1 |sed 's/.*git//;s/.el7.*//'
{code}
