access to gerrit

2015-04-22 Thread Yeela Kaplan
Hi,
Starting today google account login to gerrit is not available anymore.
I was using my personal google account to login up until now.
login with redhat account is available but it's a different user..

Is this the right address to ask this?
If yes, what should I do?

Thanks,
Yeela

yes, as google stopped supporting openid from the 20th of april,
users are requested to move to another openid account like fedora or yahoo.

this change was communicated a few days ago, i guess some people missed it.

David helped me with this.

David, how should people communicate this to the infra team?
a ticket to trac or email to infra?

 suggestion by emesika also:

If you are using google openid for authentication till now and you have also
yahoo mail address , you can enable yahoo for OpenID access in
 https://help.yahoo.com/kb/yahoo-account/enable-yahoo-account-openid-access-sln2062.html?impressions=true
and then send your new ID to dcaro

You can also use your fedora account

Please supply another OpenID indentity (such as fedora's) on this list,
so that dcaro can connect it to your account.

Right now gerrit is down, but no one with access is around to take care

 actually, there is ;)

Yes, I saw, Thanks!! And sorry for making you work on friday :S

I suggest adding at least one more person to the gerrit maintainers that
will be there on friday. And of course I also offer myself as maintainer
(I'm taking care of the downstream gerrit too, so I have some knowledge
 of it already).

 1. not against this.
 2. just to clarify, for basic gerrit restart, we have a jenkins job
which more folks could use than full gerrit access.

Point taken. Maybe we can open a wiki page to document those things
(Troubleshooting infra or similar, and split it into smaller ones if
there's one topic that starts to be big enough, like maybe
troubleshooting gerrit).
