[Inkscape-translator] launchpad

2010-02-08 Thread Alexandre Prokoudine
Hi,

We seem to have reached agreement that we will not use Rosetta for translation.

However I see that Inkscape's translation was imported to Rosetta for
Lucid nevertheless:

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/inkscape

Does anybody know how to stop Canonical apart from shouting at them really loud?

Alexandre

They will continue to putting Inkscape there since they do the same
for all the software that they include in their distros. Perhaps you
could try to ask them...

By the way, what translation system are we going to use now?

It's understandable that they need a copy of our .po files in their
system. The only way to stop the possibility of translating Inkscape
in LP is to ask them to set translation policy to "restricted" (and we
won't give anyone the right to translate it).

helix84 according to your latest experience with Transifex, do you think
this method is more practical to Inkscape's need?
I personally think Transifex has several disadvantages but in general this
system is relatively good
Any experience with translator permissions?
I have no idea about the
