I may be wrong, but I usually use "In Progress" when someone is still working on the translation, and change it to "Committed" when it's done (or when we're close to a release date). I changed all the translation reports to "Committed" recently because I thought that 0.48 was very close and that we didn't have time to work on it. Anyway, it's not exactly how bug status are usually handled, thus tell me if you prefer the "Committed" - "New" procedure. I've created a specific launchpad project (https://edge.launchpad.net/inkscape-tutorials) in January, but my attempt to import the files from SVN to BZR failed due to a temporary issue on the Sourceforge site. I'll try again later, after 0.48 is released. As for the tutorial translation, you don't need to install all the files. Just create a new po file for each tutorial and send it to the list (or attach it to a bug report). But if you want to create the SVG file , you need some more details (http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/DocumentationTranslation#Tutorial_Translation). I pointed out they were not migrated to BZR but I didn't get a reply why. Use the make-svg and make-html, there are also usage examples inside. Anyway, I use make for this but I can't find any docs to point you at right now, if you want take a look at the Makefile. [Inkscape-translator] Tutorial translations
Hi, I just wanted to start translating the tutorials, but the bzr web interface seems to be not working, so I downloaded the files from the svn in sourceforge, is any problem this? Another thing is that I am not familiar with the SVG creation from the .po files, any tip regarding this issue? Another question, can you make statistics for the tutorials like this: http://mfloryan.statnet.pl/inkscape/ Thanks, Leandro Regueiro -- The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers who use the Plug-In Development Kit to bring their C/C++ apps to Palm for a share of $1 Million in cash or HP Products. I'd have to take some time to dig through things, but I believe that technically they are not "large", "medium" and "small". Rather they are more the equivalent of "+2", "-2" and "-4" for the sizes. One of the really confusing parts is that the sizing is actually based on dynamic GTK theme settings that change from user to user and from distro to distro. Some (Ubuntu) set several of the sizes to the same value. Some do worse. We probably should revisit this, but we should try to come up with accurate names to begin with. It might even require a bit of code change. -- The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers who use the Plug-In Development Kit to bring their C/C++ apps to Palm for a share of $1 Million in cash or HP Products.
