JOB DUTIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work as a stand-alone technical resource on a project.

• Must be able to clearly articulate complex *BPM* process issues to all
levels of the organization.

• Ability to lead and facilitate interview sessions with process owners and
the ability to summarize information into quantitative and qualitative
models.

• Must have a solid understanding of systems development life cycle.

• Must have a solid understanding of database design methodologies.

• Must have an advanced understanding of coding design and documentation
protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures.

• Must have a solid demonstrated proficiency using debugging tools.

• Must have a solid demonstrated proficiency using versioning tools.

• Must have an advanced demonstrated proficiency programming in one
language (e.g.

Microsoft C# DotNet, JDeveloper, Java, ASP, HTML, etc) plus basic

This resource will be assisting the team with their Revolution UI project
to re-develop the UI for their customer product. The result will be a
refreshed UI in web 2.0 that will have a uniform look to our client’s other
major products. It will also allow for better client usability and
function. Our client is focused on integrating all of the products in the
different business units to an integrated platform.

*DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
They will spend 75% of their time working on front-end development with JSF
and some DOJO. It will be more JSF development than DOJO. The other 25%
will be porting strut screens into JSF/DOJO screens which could require
them to work with the Architect to adjust/re-write the Java code. They will
be expected to work with very complex Java code on the backend and need to
be able to retrieve data from the database and write SQL. They will be
working with a UI Designer, Java Architect and 8 FTE Java developers. The
majority of the current team is not very strong in JSF, which is where this
person will focus for the UI.

*MUST HAVES: *
- 3-4 yrs JSF development experience
- 7 yrs total java development experience: able to work with complex code
on the backend. They use Java 6
- Any DOJO or other Javascript library such as JQuery or Yahoo.
- Experience working in an IBM environment with Websphere
- HTML, Javascript, web development 2.0 experience

- MUST HAVE: Need to be able to explain what the last web application was
they worked on, what was it's function and what were they responsible for?

PI Stabilization project is focused at putting in place procedures and
environmental changes to ensure our PI environment runs smoothly day to day
and we can on-board new PI scenarios without impacting our existing
landscape
Process (Contribute too)
1.  Review and contribute to Service Introduction process.  Bring best
practices questions that project should consider to before new scenarios
are introduced into QA/Production.
2.  Review existing Admin/Basis process and contribute to missing processes
or enhancement existing process.
3.  Assist with initial establishment of a Tuning guide or basis steps to
validate for new scenarios.
4.  Validate existing Archiving process

*Environmental change (Do these activities)*

1. Solve Load Balancing issue.
2.  Rebuild PI Batch Job schedule (work closely with IBM Tivoli Scheduling
Team).

Position Description

Looking a seasoned Java Developer with Excellent Communication to assist in the 
PaaS Software Deployment.  This project is to jumpstart to get critical mass 
for PaaS components (middleware) for applications moving to the Cloud.


Expert shell scripting using various languages, including 
- major UNIX shells (Bourne, Korn, Bash, Perl, etc 
- Phython/Jython 
- Ant 
- Maven 
- other Java-based scripting languages 

Experience with configuring and automating setup of middleware application 
servers and middleware components (JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic, Websphere MQ, 
Sonic MQ, RabitMQ, ActiveMQ, ActiveVOS, TIBCO, etc). 

Experience with development of middleware application code for target 
containers and middleware assets. Java expert experience required. 

Expert experience using at least two of the software packaging or automation 
solutions listed or a similar framework (RPM, APT, yum, Chef, Puppet, cfEngine, 
etc). 

Expert experience scripting database automation and deployment solutions for 
major commercial and opensource databases (Oracle, MySQL) and noSQL solutions 
(Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB, etc). 

Experience with integration of cloud APIs using RESTFul or other relevant
