*Interview mode: PhoneJob Description: *The EDI Programmer Analyst is responsible for organizing and directing the ongoing functions of the Electronic Data Interchange areas/departments as assigned to ensure the availability of services/products to RGH customers. •*3-5 years of programming & analysis experience required* •*3-5 years of EDI mapping* &/or related work experience •Effective verbal & written communication skills. •Strong ability to understand the business and translate it into technology deliverables. •Proven analytical & problem solving skills applied to complex business applications & programming. •Generate project design concepts. •Software development and maintenance: Change existing software or develop new software to meet the needs of the user base and meet the requirements and regulations of CMS; test software to ensure informational credibility; implement completed projects. All projects are to be assigned by the EDI Supervisor. •Responsible for being a member of the off-hour call support for operations as they arise. •Troubleshooting: diagnose software and hardware errors or problems; correct problems if possible or direct them to the proper authority. Member of the daily rotation for Help Desk support. •Maintain consistency with established code standards; Answer questions regarding current software and applications. •Support RGH staff; answer questions and respond to the requests of the user base; assist users with software/programming problems; train users on current as well as new software products. •Monitor EDI transaction reports/statistics for quality and appropriateness of services provided to ensure they fall within acceptable levels of service.
