Maybe a few overnight trips.* * Mandatory Qualifications:* *Contractor shall have a minimum of (5) five years’ experience with the following: * · ADABAS database administration. · ADABAS v8 and Natural v8. · IBM COBOL / CICS / JCL · Natural programming. *Desirable Qualifications:* • Knowledge Client of ADABAS SAF Security and Natural Security. • Knowledge Client of TSO, CICS, RACF, and ESP. • Knowledge Client of OEM, Data guard, Unix commands for Oracle database management. • Experience with capacity planning. • Oracle 11g and Oracle database administration. • DB2 v9 on z/OS and DB2 database administration *Background:* The contractor will support and enhance our client's ADABAS databases that are used in conjunction with NATURAL applications, and support COBOL/CICS Online modules in Test, Staging and Production regions. *Description of Services: * · Contractor shall be responsible for ADABAS database maintenance activities such as: o Natural DDM modifications o ADABAS files space and object level maintenance.. o Security maintenance. o Containers space management. o Monitor ADABAS file usage, space, & performance (ex. file statistics, file growth, database statistics). o Database backups and restores, extension using Reorder/ Unload/Load Utilities. o Disaster Recovery setup and testing. · Will coordinate ongoing SAF enhancements and security profile management. · Will be responsible for database objects structures synchronization and testing. · Will monitoring and performance tuning the ADABAS databases. · Shall use either existing test plans, or create new test plans, to test DBA changes. · Contractor shall provide support documentation, associated with the creation and/or modification of databases or database objects. *Thanks & Regards,*** *Davis*** Technical Recruiter* *** *Addon Technologies, Inc.* *17197 N.
