*Job Description:          *•This position is responsible for providing
highly-technical expertise in the areas of presentation virtualization,
server virtualization, and application virtualization.
•This includes, but is not limited to, long range planning, design, and
development as well as the technical support, maintenance, and
administration of Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Terminal
Services, Microsoft App-V, Microsoft Med-V and virtual desktop
infrastructure.
Maximize value of currently-owned tools by implementing best practices.
•Provide recommended changes to platform architecture.
•Interact with other IS teams to accomplish service restoration and core
problem identification.
•Use of networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products,
relational databases, and programming/scripting. Perform duties under
general direction.
•Provide technical leadership on complex projects.
•Formulate and define scope and objectives for initiatives to implement new
or upgraded technologies. Recommend changes in processes and procedures to
streamline operations.
•Devise and/or modify written procedures to solve complex problems. Script,
document, and test repeatable tasks in popular scripting languages.
A Specialist-Level candidate is assigned the highest level of
responsibility for management, upgrade and establishment of
enterprise-level systems.
•Candidate should possess and be able to apply comprehensive knowledge of
fundamental IS principles and practices through the completion of difficult
assignments.

•Requires experience in application virtualization methodologies including
Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Terminal Services, Microsoft
App-V and Microsoft Med-V.
•Requires strong, solid understanding of computer networking technologies.
Requires strong, solid understanding of systems and network security.
Requires excellent technical and project management skills.
•Requires proven analytical and problem solving skills. Requires high level
of self-motivation and self-direction. Requires strong customer service
orientation. Requires experience working in a team-oriented; collaborative
environment.
•Requires the ability to develop; organize and lead technical projects.
Requires the ability to respond quickly and completely to all problems.
Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
