In-depth understanding of Universal Life product and IT processes related
to it. Knowledge on Critical Illness, Disability Insurance and Accident
riders essential. Study and Analyze functional and technical documents and
identify test scenarios and work with team to create Test Plan / Test Case.

Understanding of customer's testing needs so that they can be transformed
into testing requirements and working with testing team to guide them
execute test plans and validate results /log defects.



*EQ: *



·         Around 4-8 years' experience in life insurance operation process
in a reputed insurance company.

·         Hands on experience of Life Insurance Business Processes: New
Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processes with
reference to UL product in NA market.

·          Previous experience of testing project in Life Insurance. Prior
experience as business analyst is preferable.

*DQ:*



·         Certification from any recognized insurance institute is
preferable.

·         Training / Experience on a leading Life Insurance Industry PAS
product (Will be excellent if it is on Sapiens - ALIS).

·         Expertise across Life Insurance / Group Insurance domains

·         Involvement in two or more major testing projects in BFSI (Life
Insurance domain).

·         Good Documentation and Communication Skills

*Detailed Job Responsibilities:*



·         Understanding the customers LOB / Products, Riders and State
Variations and translating them to testing requirements.

·         Analyzing scenarios and creating testing plans.

·         Understand functional specifications and interface documents and
do gap analysis from testing point of view

·         Generate input parameters from product and interface documents
and suggest expected test results.

·         Effectively communicate with internal and external teams.

·         Acting as an interface between business units & testing teams

·         Ensure timely preparation of test cases.

·         Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved
in a timely manner.

·         Work with client personnel to identify required changes.
