*Job Description:*





•   5 years UNIX system administration experience.

•   5 years supporting distributed server environments.

•   Demonstrated knowledge of network management protocols.

•   Ability to work in a dynamic environment that often requires
multi-tasking.

•   Experience in support and/or development of web-based content
solutions.

•   Experience with databases including SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and Mongo.

•   Able to work with minimal direction in a collaborative team
environment.

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•   Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP.

•   Experience with databases including SQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

•   Experience managing large scale implementations.

•   Ability to create scripts to improve efficiency and for monitoring
purposes. (ie. Bash, Perl, etc)

•   Ability to lead a project in a matrix organization through to
completion.

•   Network – packet capture analysis. Network troubleshooting.

•Network engineering or operations experience.

•   Experience with EMS environments

ü  Experience in Data Networking, especially in the enterprise network
environment

ü  7+ years of experience in consulting, design, implementation and
migration and transformation projects

ü  Excellent hands-on experience on Data Networking technologies and
products. Must be hands-on currently.

ü  Experience working in large and multiple data center projects

ü  CCNP, CCDP certified.

ü  CCIE Certified (preferred)

Responsibilities:



The Network Engineer will lead complex projects involving the planning,
design, installation, technical support and network audit of data
information technology solutions. The Network Engineer’s responsibilities
are to configure and implement local and wide area network, internet
platforms and the network management and associated diagnostic tools to
support new and existing technology architectures. The Network engineer
makes decisions independently on Information Systems problems and methods.
The knowledge and expertise required at this level of work usually results
from progressive work experience. Projects are carried out independently
and new ideas are proposed and implemented for cost reduction and
application or infrastructure enhancements.



Essential Functions

Lead the evaluation, testing, selection and implementation of:

a. Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)

b. Internet Connectivity

c. Network Management

d. Diagnostic tools
