I have an urgent requirement for which I am sending you the job description, please go through the requirement, if you feel interested please reply with your updated resume. *REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* *Title: SQL Server Production DBA Type: Contract – 6 months, can extend to 18 months Location: New York, NY or Charlotte, NC* Responsibilities: · Leads the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. · Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction. · Handles and leads various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including one or more of the following: designing highly complex logical and/or physical databases; leading highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts; developing management policies, procedures and standards; and business requirements identification, analysis and development. · Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and/or modeling activities. · Supports in-house database administration activities related to the Datacenter Migration of all ABL platforms and applications. · Assists Internal DBA’s with SQL server 2012 builds (100+ SQL Servers) Installation, and configuration. · Storage Management and provisioning. · Backup/Restore Setup, Process and Documentation using NetBackup. · Server Monitoring, Compliance, Alerts and Notification Setup and documentation. · Sets up SQL cluster and Availability groups and Always on technologies. · Acts as a backup to internal DBA’s assist in test efforts. · Assists with maintenance setup SQL databases, Replication and Link Server setup. · Supports the QA DEV, UAT, PROD, and BCP environments. · BCP Setup and Installation. · Leads complex projects. · Other duties as assigned.
