*Sr. IT Business Analyst - Workday HRIS* *San Francisco, CA* *6+ Months* Responsibilities The Sr. IT Business Analyst is responsible for leading the implementation of the WorkDay deployment and ensure the data integrity, maintenance, reporting, and training for all Human Resources Information Systems. The Sr IT Business Analyst will work with all levels of the organization. Ensure HR Information System data confidentiality is maintained Ensure proper maintenance of system data and the internal system for values, codes, tables, business processes, supervisory organizations, security and system interfaces. Ensure proper administration of the Workday applications including configuring security access & role based access controls. Assist with ensuring proper flow of HR-related information into and out of HR Information Systems. Enter and control data from confidential employee records into the HR Information Systems. This includes mass data uploads. Review source documents for accuracy and completion of data input, verify output, and continuously audit the HR and Payroll databases for data integrity and continuity. Generate and distribute a variety of reports and statistical summaries regarding employee skills, pay, data, and related information. Serve as liaison with the HR Information System providers on technical matters and equipment/system maintenance. Provide training for system users as needed. This may include leading individual and group training sessions and arranging for classroom and web-based training. Assist with system questions, problem resolution, and organizational communications. Create test scenarios and assist in performing tests to insure all processes work according to predetermined goals Maintain familiarity with all computer systems used in the HR department, utilizing them as needed, evaluating their effectiveness, and making recommendations for improvements Coordinate and oversee system upgrades and implementations. Skills & Requirements Must hold a Bachelors degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in managing & administration of HRIS systems like Workday/Peoplesoft. Strong analytical/problem solving skills Considerable knowledge of computer operations and computer systems analysis. Considerable ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of and experience in utilizing and creating databases and spreadsheets. Considerable ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Considerable ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees. Considerable ability to solve problems related to computer system software and operations.
