*Thanks* *Business Intelligence Lead Data Analyst* *Libertyville IL* *Duration : 6+months* *Please send the resume to cha...@ivytechsol.us <cha...@ivytechsol.us>* *Job Description:* · The Business Intelligence Lead Data Analyst focuses on providing support to specific areas of the business in order to meet their business integration, intelligence, and decision support needs. · The ideal candidate will have substantial experience collecting user requirements, data analysis, documenting technical specifications, and data modelling. · The ability to understand complex business needs, logical problem solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills are required. · Additionally, a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, data analysis, advanced SQL queries, ETL - SSIS, and business intelligence applications is required. *Essential Functions:* Candidates will be required to partner with business users to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, translate those needs into formal, documented business and technical requirements, and drive solution design and delivery. · Act as a development lead for new BI initiative related to the supported business area for Brightstar BI. Lead, through coordination with Business Analyst resources, the process to gather and document user requirements and to create functionaland technical specifications. Develop and maintain architecture and design documentation. · Ensure that the operational support area has sufficient documentation and training after solutions are implemented in production. · Provide warranty support of deliverables until the operations team accepts them. · Coordinate testing and implementation of technology solutions. · Utilize Onsite offshore model to do technical coordination with offshore team *Requirements:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications / experience required. · 7+ years IT experience required, 5+ years experience required in BI/DW experience in complex SQL writing in DW environment. · 3+ years' experience analyzing business needs and defining detailed business requirements · Strong business analysis and data analysis skills and proficient in datawarehousing concepts. · Knowledge and experience in data and database integration techniques including data modeling, data normalization and other relevant data manipulation and data exchange technologies · Strong experience writing stored procedures and SQL. · Proficiency in ETL Architecture and Framework Knowledge using SSIS. · Should be able to develop complex packages, complex SQLs and Stored · Procedures, and deployments using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above. · Proficiency in Data modeling: Star Schema/Dimensional/3rd Normal Form · Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues, Leads technical team of 2-5 ETL/SSIS developers. · Good exposure to Onsite offshore model to perform technical coordination with offshore team . · Implement Master Data Services to enforce data integrity. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work well with people from cross functional teams in dynamic environment.
