[IRCA] TP 21 May Victoria version

2017-05-21 Thread Nick Hall-Patch
OK, I think I have the date right for this morning (yesterday's
submission should have been the 20th...), and this was another
deadish morning, except for a couple of visits to beautiful downtown
Sapporo, along with a brief side trip to Akita.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above, passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB Japanese talk by man, readable when the 750 splash let up
for a moment or two 1134UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)

774 man talking, Japanese inflection 1137UT
1287 slow pop vocal 1146UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)

nothing beyond the above   seemed to be Asian;
1548seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick

Re: [IRCA] unID with Beatles music on 890

2017-05-21 Thread Rick Dau

Crud. A relog. Was really hoping for something 1) new, and 2) exotic. AM Log
remains stuck at exactly 1000, nothing new heard here since early March.
