Re: [IRCA] [CapeDX] 1530 VOA Sao Tome at sign-on and sign-off
I was wondering the same thing about listenership back in December while cruising in the western Injun Ocean. 909 (and 4930) from Botswana thumped in at night on a stock PL380 while on a circuit Mauritius/Seychelles/Zanzibar/Comoros/Reunion/Mauritius. Then '60 Minutes' on CBS a week or so back were tut-tutting about 'RT/Russia Today' complete with 'Larry King Live' being available on cable... Re: [IRCA] TP 16 Jan Kona version
Last night we had a community wide power outage for over an hour — Noise levels went from S9+ to around S5... Amazing how much remained. I’m thinking the culprits are solar arrays And stuff being re-radiated by the temporarily off-line 13kv distribution. By the time I got back from the Alii drive, I had about 15 minutes to listen (around 0700) and there were oceanic carriers - little else., Colin Newell - Kona > On Jan 15, 2018, at 7:26 PM, Nick Hall-Patch wrote: > > No sunrise enhancement this morning to speak ofand generally conditions > were not very exciting. > > > > > To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com > ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
