As the guy who used to schedule all Radio Marti shortwave transmissions, before I decided I needed to spend more time on the beach and in the shag joints of North Myrtle, maybe I can 'splain sumpin... HF ground wave doesn't go very far, and skywave has a skip zone. Thus Greenville and Delano (and formerly Bethany - sigh! that was a good site for Cuba!!) are used for HF to Cuba. That's why you won't see Marti leasing HF out of Florida, or even Goose Creek, SC. Too close! I stand by my "Fedral Thinking". Some of us who worked for the Feds gave a %^$%^$^%$!
