The low band wasn't quite as poor as Bruce found, though it is true that the NHK2 big guns were better around 1200UT. And yes, there was a pip heard on 1467 at 1400UT here, but nothing else to hang one's hat on. Generally, there wasn't anything that was consistently strong, but JOJK-1224 and RRI-1377 are not to be sneezed at. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 1386 The NHK2 Big Gun at this time, if only briefly, 1354UT, Chinese lessons Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 738 female vocal pop music 1334UT, but faded before any talk was heard; assumed Tahiti. Welll, it was a little quieter between about 1300 and 1350 UT, how about that as a more pessimistic take on things? The most interesting signals for me were at pre-sunrise enhancement after 1350UT, but it looks like the big guns were sounding off much of the night. I'm sure there was a lot that was missed, as signals were erratic as well as sometimes quite strong. Today, it was enhancement, or nothing. (a slogan for a T-shirt?) wellthere was a moment or two earlier, but mostly unexciting...plus, the enhancement pretty much fell off the cliff after about 1415UT.
