[IRCA] TP 2 July Victoria version

2017-07-02 Thread Nick Hall-Patch

The geomagnetic burp really limited things this morning.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

no

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

no

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)

603 really reaching here, but vocal music was heard faintly, followed
by man talking, and more music 1133UT. A good channel for weak
signals, and this was weak. Waatea?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)

nothing  seemed to be Asian;
576 594 612 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick

Only a couple of hints of audio plus some carriers. 1287 had a SAH
on it, so perhaps JOHR was trying to make an appearance, but really,
this was a morning for speculation only.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

nothing to hear here, move along...

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be

1386 man mumbling 1149UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
