For Gary: The FSL is going to live in Captain Cook for a while with a new DXer who I will instruct on the use of the FSL with an unmodified Eton E100 All will not be lost on this Island adventure. Welcome home (to the Puget Sound area), and thanks for giving it your best shot in Kona. I don't blame you for not wanting to search out remote ocean cliffs on the Big Island-- I was in Hawaii (Pearl Harbor) from 1975-1979, and the Navy instructed us over and over to avoid dubious areas. As for FSL antenna DXing on ocean cliffs (in addition to any efforts that your buddy Joachim Oster may make), I'm sure that they will get plenty of DU-DXing hang time by a true fanatic on Oregon's Rockwork cliff next month. 73, Gary -Original Message- From: R. Thanks Gary. Your logging and my unID definitely makes this one to watch, plus you're right, PAL says it's Trackside until 1200UTwhich means that my NetSDR recording may have a parallel available. Not holding my breath though. 1476 has recently been putting in a good carrier, so there is hope. best wishes, Nick Quoting d1028g...@aol.com: 828 man in DU EE 1152UT.
