Slim pickings indeed. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): not today Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): no not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker: and no Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) 774 man talking Japanese intonation 1130UT Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) nothing else seemed to be Asian; 846 891 1017 seemed to be DU best wishes, Nick Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com

Two audios and a carrier this morning, but that's still better than the last few mornings. . not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker: 828 JOBB? bit of a surprise: man talking at 1130UT, pretty sure it was Japanese, then signal left nearly as fast as it had arrived. Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) 1116 man talking, DU English inflection, woman on the phone, 1230UT Strongish het, no or near imaginary audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) 738 best wishes, Nick ___ ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com

Nothing too exciting the last little while, and although this morning was underpowered, it was a bit unusual in the channels that were showing carriers. I'd guess a New Zealand morning on the coast? . Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 1503 likely R. Sport w/ hyped up man talking, maybe DU EE, 1203UT 1575 woman talking 1204UT, maybe DU EE? then a man talking. Strongish het, no or near imaginaryaudio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1008 1215 1278 1314 1557 1593 (off channel) 1602 best wishes, Nick ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com

A couple of weak audios this morning, one quite mysterious pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): not today reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): not today either not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker: 738 Tahiti brief fade up 1128-1131UT peak, then gone by 1137UT. At best, man in FF somewhat readable. Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 594 heard a carrier here 1124UT, coinciding with 567 fading up to a carrier as well, guessed they might be Japan, but after fading down, another? 594 carrier returned at 1138UT w/woman singing a ballad very weak; nothing else on the band, very odd. Carrier pretty much gone by 1200UT Strongish het, no or near imaginaryaudio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): beyond these two above, nothing really best wishes, Nick ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
