[IRCA] TP 30 Jun Victoria version

2018-07-01 Thread Nick Hall-Patch
The Asian conditions moved down from Haida Gwaii, with a few of the carriers
near to audio (702, 747, 1287), but not quite there.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 JOUB woman in Japanese 1126UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker:

the above passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

828 JOBB man and woman talking 1113UT //774

891 man talking, Japanese intonation 1129UT

1017 choral music, religious feel to it? 1154UT, Tonga most likely

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged
by splatter)

594 702 747 864 1134 1287 seemed to be Asian;
756 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick

Likely a pretty fair morning at the coast, featuring mostly New Zealand.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
