Re: [IRCA] 1098 Marshalls MP3 w/ Eton E100 slider
Walt and Colin, Great DX in Hawaii so far, Colin! Radio Marshalls-1098 was also booming in for me on a Slider E100 at Grayland on November 2nd, with bassy audio and long choral songs. An MP3 of the reception was uploaded to the ultralightdx Yahoo group site. It's amazing how this station only shows up with audio on the coast, and nor further inland (at least for me). 73, Gary In a message dated 12/23/2008 7:55:59 A.M. I'm surprised by the lack of NAm stations, though. Every time I've dx'd from Hawaii (numerous locations), I've always received the west coast well, and yes, 730 was always well heard. Try for 1130 Vancouver...it also blasts in. Re 1593that would be a good catch! My thinking, though, is that it's more likely NHK2, but keep listening to be sure! ..Walt. ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com **One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail.
