[IRCA] Alberta TPs for 27 Nov 2012
Very faint audio this morning on both 1566 and 1593. Too faint to ID language in either case. Most of the other freqs with decent carriers seemed to indicate a DU pattern (891, 1116,1314,1476,1548). 1575 had two decent carriers, one presumably VOA, and a second running about 50 Hz low. Conditions took a dip here today, with things very poor when I first checked at 1425. The only TP with any audio was 693 (which oddly enough didn't reach audio the last couple of days), and even 594 and 774 were only fair carriers at best. 594 did make audio about 10 minutes later, but 747, 774, and 828 never made it. On the positive side, the upper end of the band showed a bit of life. When I first checked things sounded awfully poor, so I checked my antenna and found a switch in the wrong position. I fixed that and things improved - but only slightly. Wound up hearing audio on 594, 747, and 774, but that was it.Elsewhere it was only carriers, and not terribly impressive ones at that.
