I almost never lose power, even during the worst of windstorms. Today, however, it was out for 5 hours. I did a brief bandscan on the Tecsun - the locals stayed on except possibly 1230 and 1400. Pretty blustery here in Tacoma this afternoon but it has calmed down considerably. A semi got blown over on he Narrows Bridge. My wife drove over to Bellevue but came back rather quickly lest the bridge closed before she returned. A few blinks earlier but no power outages for us. Apparently there are about 45,000 peeps up north who weren’t so lucky. If our power goes out, I hop on 1350-1370 since if ours goes out, KKMO’s does too. It is about a mile away. After our monster storm last week with 90+ MPH winds, we lucked out here with gusts of 52 MPH, but it is pretty much gone. Cloudy now with only showers and light winds. I heard the winds were going to be stronger to the North. I hope you do not have any damage. (Hopefully) later in the week the weather is supposed to turn out nice for a few days, I can get my antennas back in order, even I cannot get them hooked up because of the tree in the way, at least they will be ready to go once the tree in moved. My big dish needs some alignment too.
