[IRCA] evening TAs
It was a quantity rather than quality evening for TAs in western Canada. Quite a lot of carriers, but only 1215 delivered any audio, not strong, but definite servings of the usual ponderous rock music, best around 0505 and 0535UT, but still some hints at 0615UT. Maria 1735 EST882BBC 1737 EST1269DLF (t), not quite able to match with web audio 1740 EST1422DLF 1740 EST873SER (t), the one that got away, just not enough distinctive program features to match with the web audio, as it was just a woman talking, and then the phone range just before the top fo the hour. The SER web audio seemed much more than 5-10 seconds delay in this case. Well, yes, there were some, but pretty faint audio at best, fading up from time to time on 1215, 1377, 1323, and 855. Other than that a number of weak carriers. Back home in IL now and sleep deprived so will gtb soon and no DX. Anyhow..re 603..keep an ear pealed for France as they were best ever last night in WI clobbering Spain. Re 531 Spain was atop Algeria in general but not always and once in a while some pop-type mx (likely the endless overnight stuff Faroes plays) snuck under. All the RNE 1 and 5 stations run // over their nights from what I have read and observed making it easy to nab bunches of them. 1505 ? Do you mean 1503 ? Nope, that's 1505 kHz. Not 1503. On recheck about 1505.7, still very strong. Maybe something other than a radio signal.
